1) Open session of IRSE Officers Association (IRSEOA) of Delhi/NCR area was held on 19.10.2013. About 80 officers including Member Engineering, Secretary/Railway Board, General Manager / Northern Railway participated in it. Various officers expressed their views and concerns. Points collected will be compiled and put up on website shortly.
2) IRSE Day was celebrated on 1st November, 2013 by Delhi/NCR area officers at Sarojini Nagar Nursery, New Delhi. About 400 officers with families, including about 60 retired officers, various officers working in PSUs and in private sectors were present. Gathering was addressed by ME, AM/CE, retired ME Mr. Rakesh Chopra, Mr. Achal Khare (ED/Infra/Civil/Rly.Bd.), Mr.Abhay Mishra (Pvt Sector), Mr. Arbind Kumar (RITES), etc. AM/CE, in his address, also summarised the concerns of IRSE officers as expressed in the open session on 19.10.2013. It was followed by Musical Program and Dinner.
3) IRSE Day Celebration in S.C. Railway : IRSE Day was celebrated on 1st November, 2013 by S.C. Railway Officers. An Open Session was organised followed by lunch in which all officers of Open Line, Construction and various PSUs were present. The Session was chaired by PCE, SCRly. and CAO(C), SCRly. Dinner was also organised in the evening in which all IRSE officers (of Open Line, Construction, RITES, RVNL, etc.) in addition to the retired officers along with families assembled.
